Planned private-pilot route

One clear route after an unanswered call.

CallRelay is preparing a consent-led hand-off for UK trade businesses. It is designed to keep the caller’s choice and the trader’s decision at the centre.

The planned journey

Three steps, with no hidden handover.

The flow below is illustrative. It describes the intended pilot behaviour and is not a live call-handling service.

  1. 01

    An unanswered call

Your usual business number remains the starting point. The intended pilot uses an approved unanswered-call forwarding route to a dedicated CallRelay number.

  2. 02

    A caller chooses the link

After an approved acknowledgement and emergency boundary, a caller may request one service text. The link is planned to be available for 24 hours.

  3. 03

    You receive the basics

The caller can leave a short summary and optional town or first part of postcode. You decide whether, when and how to respond.

What is deliberately outside it

CallRelay does not take over the job.

It is not an emergency service. It does not diagnose, book, dispatch, promise a callback, replace a CRM, or act as an AI receptionist. Its proposed role ends at a narrow, consented hand-off.

  • No emergency response or safety advice
  • No booking or job allocation
  • No callback promise on your behalf
  • No marketing sequence for callers

Before a pilot

There are still checks to complete.

Provider configuration, real-device evidence, exact data handling and pilot terms must be agreed before any business uses the planned workflow. An enquiry is simply a way to discuss whether the private pilot could be suitable.
